Series Overview
Some questions don't get answered in a single sermon, or a single sitting. Can I really trust the Bible, & if I can, what is it even for, & how do I actually read the thing? Why did God give us bodies at all, & what does that mean for our limits, our pain, & the way we see ourselves? What does the church really say about sex, sexuality & gender? What does it even mean to be human in a world of AI? And is religion (& the church) helpful to a life with God, or just too corrupt with human brokenness? Those are just a few of the things people wonder about but don't always say out loud. And they aren't even all of them. So, if you've ever had a question, you were a little afraid to ask in church, this Fall is for you. We're slowing down to work through the hard stuff together. Our goal is to approach these subjects honestly, carefully, & without tidy answers that crumble the moment they meet real life. And we're not doing it on our own: for these weeks we're asking everyone to jump into a group (or a small huddle of 3-6), because the questions that keep us up at night aren't meant to be carried alone.
We're also going to start at the beginning, with some questions you might have about the Bible, & there's a reason for that. Stay tuned. For now, come as you are, doubts, wonderings, thoughts & all. We're all "Still Processing," & there's a seat for you at the table.
